I'm getting quite excited (!) about some of the photosgraphs I've been taking lately, using the 'macro' on my camera. I love the ability to be able to look up close at something, and see the beauty that you can't really see with the naked eye.
Just look at the perfect circle of the curly bits around the edge of this newly emerging fern. You may be able to click on it to make it a bit bigger, before it 'pixelates'!Same with this dandelion. It is just magical to be able to see all those seeds!
The may blossoms were wonderful this year, but until I got up close to take this picture, I never did realise that some of the stamens are pink!!

What lovely pictures! Your garden must be beautiful! I really like the fern shot. Have a wonderful weekend!
Beautiful shots!!! I would have never guessed that first one was a fern! Enjoy your weekend!
Wow, stunning shots! I love all the details you captured.
Wonderful photos Val - the May blossom looks quite exotic.
I love the fern shot too. I love the curling of them. I looked into growing fiddlehead ferns but found that it is too hot here and was SO disappointed, they are like little works of art up close!
Great pictures. I find it so difficult to photograph plants/flowers and you did it so well.
The fern in my favorite..would have never guessed it. This is so much fun!
Wonderful shots!! I am very partial to dandelions :)))
Beautiful photos Val. Don't you just love nature? (and your macro)
I don't care what anyone says, I think dandelions are pretty! very nice.
I agree with Gray Girl, Val, dandelions have a certain something special. I think your pictures are just beautiful.
Have a wonderful week.
Love the closeups. Thanks for commenting on my blog.
I love the last image of those glorious flowers.
