Trying to find something in my garden that is an interesting shape when viewed from an unusual angle is quite difficult really! I seem to spend an awful lot of time on my knees ........
However, I find it very exciting when some of my pictures come up on the computer, and are quite unrecognisable, but still beautiful.....This is the same plant, different colour, but viewed almost from the top down (not sideways, which is the way I generally see it)
Know what it is yet ......
This is a slightly different angle - I think the leaves give it away ...
A real closeup of the top - yes it is a Lupin, but isn't it just exquisite viewed at this angle?

Till next time ....

What amazing shots, particularly the one from the top which looks like a single flower. I love lupins but can't grow them as my slugs love them even more!
I have always loved lupin's tried growing them...they didn't like me. I really like the last shot the soft pastels are so pretty. I too have tried the shot from below or different angles....hopefully no one was watching me!
Amazing pictures Val and such beautiful colours too. Your patience was well rewarded. I love lupins but if the slugs don't get them the aphids do.
Absolutely stunning Val!!
It's fun being down on one's knees to get the perfect shot at an unusual angle. The problem is getting back up! Love the macro pics, Val. The last is my favorite, too. Thanks for letting me into the macro lupin world.......they won't grow in my area....well, not for me anyway.
Lupins are so gorgeous, but seen this way they're truly amazing! Great shots :)
