Further to my last 'posting', Judy Rys left me a comment saying she could see a face in my Doodle, so I did a black and white photocopy and coloured in what she mentioned. I have not altered any lines at all - amazing! Thanks so much to everyone who left a comment for me. Can anyone suggest how I can intrepret The Face into fabric, stitch, paint or whatever. All suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

it might be really interesting to use various shades and fabrics for the skins, and a variety for the "hair" ... it'd highlight the shadows and composition....So the drawn lines would become patchwork lines
It's funny val but I saw the face also but didn't say anything--sorry but I can't help with the interpreting of the face but I will wait and see what you come up with.
I've been doing Susan Sorrell's Doodling Designs class and in lesson 5 we transfer the doodle to tissue paper pin it to fabric then stitch the black line with black thread and then fill in with coloured thread, if that's any help.
Hi Val
Well I have say I never saw the face , but now you've worked it, it looks great.
I think I would print this on the computer as it's such a graphic image and then work over it in machine stitch, I can see vermicelli on the left lower edge.
Great to see your a calender girl too LOL.
Great idea Val, I am just seeing if I can leave you a comment.
Carol
maybe sheers and reverse applique.
This is great Val. I do see a face in there. You should for sure keep the partial black and white element. I guess it would depend on how big you want your final piece to be. I say go really big! If this is the case you have so many possibilities. I see a great art quilt in here!
