Anyway, this is my first effort at drawing a doodly line randomly over the page, then colouring in some of the shapes. The finished A4 design piece looks rather like a typsy Christmas Party! After I had drawn the doodly line I then did wavy lines in a criss cross fashion, to break up the shapes a bit, and make it look more interesting?
I then scanned the image into my Paint Shop programme and using the 'cropping device'
made these smaller designs, suitable for Postcards or ATCs.
As a Design based Challenge, it has provided a jumping off point, and
I may even have a go at the second part of the Challenge. Glutton for punishment, that's me!!

Interesting Challange! looking forward to the next step!
Good work Val, I love them, I know your not sure but i love the marks you have made and the croping is great too. The lines are not the joy for me but the marks and choices you have made in the shapes. Lovely.
Wow Val this looks great --reminds me of what my head felt like after some of those Christmas parties I went to when I was younger(along time ago but I still remember)
How fun. It looks like lots of design possibilities. SAndy
looks like a great challenge -- you definately have a few interesting designs through the cropping you'[ve done :-)
Hi Val
Super doodles! This is mark making at it's best, you've got a wonderful fluidity going on there and the colours are really bold. You've put just enough solid black in to keep the eye within the frame of the design.
The crops have got great potential too, can't wait to see where you take this.
Keep on scribbling!
Great project and great work for it Val.
Looking forward to seeing what you do next.
Hugs, Alis
Val these are fabulous.
I really like the full size version. I immediately saw a profile of a woman. The large green triangle is the nose, once you find that, you'll see the rest. The eye is 4 colors!
Hi Val!
Great doodeling! I am looking forward to seeing the next step!
Take care!
