My Garden Altered Book - First spread

Well, this is my first page in my Garden Altered book, from my last post. I think I will probably stick to wild flowers that are in my garden, for the moment anyway. I have lots of them - some people call them weeds - but as they say, weeds are only wild flowers growing in the wrong place. This seems to have taken me ages, and even now not all the spaces are filled, so I will probably go back to it. I haven't quite made up my mind for the second spread yet ..............

Oh Val, it's wonderful. I tend to go through my book, then go through it again several times, adding things.

Hi Val. I wondered what you had been doing. I thought you would be busy gardening in this weather. It looks like I was half right. I put a comment on here this morning but it has gone.

Brilliant, brilliant start.
Did you just put everything in willy-nilly or did you plan it out beforehand. It all flows really nicely - I'm sure mine would just look a mish-mash of different bits.

Oh Val this is so beautiful! I love the colors, the poem .... I love everything about it. I think I will do an embroidery with the text about weeds. It will do nicely in my summer house and remind me of not working so hard in the garden... :-)

Lots of love to you my friend!
Jeanette

This is such a pretty fresh looking first page. I have a soft spot for daisies whether they're weeds or not.
