Shape and Texture - I love Macro

Up close and personal!  This post is for 'I heart Macro'.  Click on the button on the right hand side to see what other people are up to.
We all what know this is, but take another look.  The pattern and colours are just beautiful.  If I crop it any more it will break into pixels, but I love to look real close.
The pattern of the veins, and the light on the left.  Those veins in the bud on the right .....
Wow! all those different colour blues in there - and the shapes.  Looks like a purple ice cream cone on the right!
This is the original picture - before I cropped it.
Can you recognise this - looks like a group of swans having a chinwag!  Love the soft blue colour.
Same flower - different shot .......
Beautiful Granny's Bonnet (Aquilegia) that self seeded - what a gift!
Till next time ........

Wonderful photo's! I really must try taking pictures of the backside of the flower. Really makes for an interesting picture.

The photos of your flower cloth are wonderful too!

Stunning shots - love the shots of the flowers with the veins, love those textures. I first saw the Granny's Bonnet and did think those were swans. I love all the different perspective shots this week!

Beautiful pics, Val! What amazing designs and shades in a simple flower. I wish my eyes had macro lenses so I could see the minute details.
